Stacey Pilcher, Principal
Stacey learned everything she knows about strategic planning as an administrative assistant. Not really, but it's fun to point out that her first job after graduating from Arizona State University in business and marketing was as the assistant to the president of the largest advertising agency in Phoenix, Arizona. She's come a long way since then, learning the business from the inside out and from top to bottom. She even took out time to earn an MBA at Thunderbird, The School of Global Management.
Stacey's experience spans 20 years marketing products and building brands for companies like Bank One and America West Airlines. Her résumé includes positions as Vice President, at The Martin Agency, an award winning national advertising agency, and Director of Advertising and Brand at Qwest Communications, managing a budget in excess of $100 million. She worked as the account supervisor when America West Airlines was just getting started and helped launch the company's first frequent flyer program.
At Qwest, her work involved repositioning the company as a regional data provider, putting to rest the old local telephone company image. She was also responsible for the negotiation and implementation of the company's Olympic Sponsorships. Working with Bank One she created the strategic platform and campaign for the bank's first marketing effort to promote alternative investment products. Test marketed in the western region, this campaign was implemented nationally and won an Effie Award. Campaigns for Bank One consistently won the highest honors in the Bank Marketing Association's annual Best of the Best annual creative competitions.
Since 1999, Stacey Pilcher et al. has focused on helping clients see and seize opportunities - establishing a strong brand image for the international law firm Walkers and helping them find success in their niche; working with Karsten Manufacturing makers of PING golf equipment to make their web site work for potential customers and devotees; identifying the brand essence of a 100 year old company, the Globe Corporation; and reestablishing Tesseract School as a leader in education in the market while building their success with increased enrollment. Like our clients we desire to be the best at what we do and have an enthusiasm to succeed.
When not working, you'll likely find Stacey outside - hiking, backpacking, jogging, gardening or riding her "girl" bike. If she is not outdoors, then she is travelling, pursuing her latest artistic inspiration, settling down with a good book, or posting to her blog.
