Stacey Pilcher, Principal
Stacey learned everything she knows about strategic planning as an administrative assistant. Not really, but it’s fun to point out that her first job after graduating from Arizona State University in business and marketing was as the assistant to the president of the largest advertising agency in Phoenix, Arizona. She’s come a long way since then, learning the business from the inside out and top to bottom. She even took out time to earn an MBA at Thunderbird, The School of Global Management, Glendale & Guadalajára campuses.
Stacey’s experience spans 20 years marketing products and building brands for companies like Bank One and America West Airlines. Her resume includes positions as Vice President, The Martin Agency, an award winning national advertising agency, and Director of Advertising and Brand at US West, managing a budget in excess of $100 million. She worked as the account supervisor when America West Airlines was just getting started and help them launch the company’s first frequent flyer program.
At US West, her worked involved repositioning the company as a regional data provider, putting to rest the old local telephone company image. She was also responsible for the negotiation and implementation of the company’s Olympic Sponsorships.Working with Bank One she created the strategic platform and campaign for the bank’s first marketing effort to promote alternative investment products.Test marketed in the western region, this campaign was implemented system-wide and won an Effie Award.
As the Marketing Director for a progressive regional corporate law firm, Stacey designed and implemented the firm’s first strategic marketing plan. This included the creation of a marketing department including all systems, procedures and materials. She successfully instilled a marketing culture among the attorneys by implementing training programs and a client liaison program.
Her firm’s clients include PING- International Golf Club Manufacturer; Walkers - International Corporate Law Firm; VMI - National Mobility Product Manufacturer; Old World Communities, Regional Land Developer;Tesseract School - Independent Private School; Show Low Bluff - Master Planned Developer; ASU/UofA/NAU - Master of Engineering Partnership; Bryan Cave - International Corporate Law Firm; ISEC - Specialty Contractor, to name a few.
She formed Stacey Pilcher et al. in 1999 to pursue her desire to build a better mouse trap.When clients work with the firm, they work directly with Stacey, always getting the best thinking and personalized service.
