Concise benefits. Clear communications.
The Master of Engineering degree was approved by the Arizona Board of Regents in June of 1998. The program was called the Arizona Tri-University Master of Engineering, affiliated with Arizona Regents University. In 2003 it was recognized that the program would be better served by focusing on the respected brands of the three schools rather than the relatively unknown Arizona Tri-University brand.
By 2004, a re-branding effort was started to better position the program for long-term sustainability. Research was conducted to understand the benefits of the program from several perspectives: students, employers, faculty and the universities. The program's Industry Advisory Board was also consulted. The research discovered that the program was truly unique in its partnership with the three universities and the ability for students to customize a program depending on their area of interest and their schedules.
A new brand was launched focusing on these two benefits. Fall admissions compared to the previous year increased 25%. The Master of Engineering Partnership - Three universities. One flexible degree.
